Siddaramaiah claimed that the public mood was in favour of the Congress and that he has conveyed the same to Narendra Modi when he had met him in Mysuru recently.
When the BJP members took objection to the chief minister mentioning Modi's name in the Assembly, Siddaramaiah said, "Just because I took his name, it doesn't mean that I am disrespecting him. When I told Modi that the Congress would come back to power, he was merely smiling," he added.
In the Council, Siddaramaiah claimed that his party will come back power and he will continue as the chief minister.
