Bigg Boss contestant kidnaps man suspected of having affair with friend's wife

A small-time actor and three of his associates abducted two people at gunpoint and threatened them to stay away from a friend's wife.

The Jnanabharathi police on Friday arrested Tsunami Kitty alias Pradeepa, also a contestant in Bigg Boss Kannada, and his partners Arjun alias Muthappa (29), Santhosh alias Thuppa (24), and Yogesh (25) on various charges of kidnap, assault, and under the Arms Act.

Toushith Gowda, one of the kidnapped men working with a private firm, was in touch with the wife of Kitty's close friend. As his friend shared his anxiety about his wife getting cosy with another man, the actor and three associates decided to kidnap him, teach him a lesson and save his friend's marriage.

They contacted a man identified as Girish, a waiter at a bar-cum-restaurant. On February 28, as Girish stood near a shop at Doddabasti near Kengeri, the four men assaulted him, bundled him into a car and shut him in a room at a farm house in Horamavu.

While talking to Girish, the gang learnt that he used to reserve a table at the bar for Gowda and the wife of Kitty's friend.

Girish revealed Gowda's whereabouts and the gang snatched him in a different car from Goreguntepalaya near Peenya and locked him up with Girish at the farmhouse. Gowda denied having an affair with the woman, and told the gang that they were only friends.

The gang released Girish and Gowda after warning them at gunpoint not to report the incident to the police or anyone else.

On Friday, Girish approached the Jnanabharathi police and filed a complaint against Kitty and his associates.
