CM seconds Rahul, says JD(S) supports BJP

Defending All India Congress Committee (AICC) president Rahul Gandhi's statement about JD(S), Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said that JD(S) is an "opportunist party". What is the guarantee that JD(S) will not support BJP, the CMasked.

Speaking to reporters here on Monday, Siddaramaiah said that JD(S) has not remained a secular party. "The party had joined hands with BJP to form the government. This time too, JD(S) will support BJP," he predicted.

"Though JD(S) supremo HDDeve Gowda opposed a coalition, Kumaraswamy joined hands with BJPto form the 20-20 government. Kumaraswamy has issued statements that if JD(S) join hands with BJP then Congress party will get wiped out, thus hinting at another alliance," the CM said.

Rahul yatra from April 3

With 'Janaashirvaad Yatra' receiving an overwhelming response, AICC president Rahul Gandhi will continue the yatra from April 3. The yatra will be held at Shivamogga, Davangere, Chitradurga, Tumakuru, Kolar and Chikkaballapur. A mega event will be organised in Bengaluru on April 8.
