Telangana police fulfill 6-year blood cancer boy's wish

 Six-year-old, terminally ill, D Ishan was in uniform, took salute from troops and even addressed a press conference at the Rachakonda Commissionerate here on Wednesday.

His eyes were filled with joy, when his ambition to become a police commissioner came true.   The Rachakonda police made him become their commissioner for a day.

Ishan is the younger of the three children of a wall-painter D Chand Pasha and Haseena, a couple from Medak district.

He is suffering from blood cancer and his condition is critical.

Ishan took charge as commissioner of police Rachakonda for one day, at Gachibowli. Student of Class II, Ishan is undergoing treatment at MNJ Cancer hospital, Red hills.

Make a wish Foundation interacted with his parents and approached Rachakonda Police Commissioner Mahesh M Bhagwat to fulfill his wish.

Speaking as the commissioner of police to media at the conference hall, a delighted Ishan expressed that he wanted to install CCTV cameras so as to maintain law and order and create a friendly policing atmosphere.

When asked what he will do as a one-day police commissioner, he replied, "I will control property offences and law and order problems in Rachakonda Commisionarate. Ishan wished to increase "She Teams" and police patrolling for women safety and security.

The boy's parents, the NGO members and officials of Rachakonda felt very happy spending time with the one-day commissioner of police of Rachakonda Master D.Ishan.
