Bollywood actor Ishita Raj Sharma made her debut with the movie 'Pyaar Ka Punchnama' in 2011. Her character, 'Charu' was much loved and appreciated. She went on to star in 'Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2' in 2015 -- thus becoming an integral part of the most successful movie franchise. Ishita was last seen in 'Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety'.

"Since I am usually held up with work on weekdays, I like my weekends to be more relaxed.
I like to devote my Sundays lazing around at home -- catching up on my sleep, oiling my hair or just chilling at a salon.

On Saturdays, I attend my dance class and hit the gym if I missed my sessions during the weekdays. Once I am done with that, I head out to meet my close friends and enjoy a good meal with them.

Since my family doesn't stay with me, I head to my hometown whenever I have a long weekend to see my folks. My family is an important part of my life and the quality time spent with them is something I always cherish.

Since summer is here, the best way to beat the heat is to go for a swim; because weekends are a little more relaxed, swimming adds to the vibe.

Whether it is a weekday or a weekend, there is no compromise with my fitness. Apart from gymming, I also go for jogs in joggers' park with a friend of mine.

I love the idea of a long drive during the weekends. In Mumbai, where the traffic is always at its peak, driving around becomes much easier on weekends. And a good company is an addition to the great drive.

Though I visit Delhi for most of my weekends, Goa is another place I head to with friends. It has been so many times, that now I bored of that place. My sister and I are travel buffs and whenever we get together, it is for sure we will take off somewhere. For us, travelling is not just restricted to weekends but whenever we have the time.

I have made a couple of great friends in Mumbai. It is always a lot of fun when we get together. We all love board games, so when they come over to my place, we play 'taboo', 'monopoly' and 'snakes and ladder'. It may sound kiddish but what matters is we all have fun at the end of the day.

I like to watch movies a lot and rather than watching them at home, I like to go to a theatre and watch it. So catching up on all the films that I missed out is on my weekend to-do list. Getting out for a coffee usually at Starbucks and then heading for a movie is just an ideal evening for me.

Another activity that I like to include in my weekend schedule is cooking. I like to cook and I like it more when I know there is someone to eat and appreciate my cooking.

My favourite part of a weekend is shopping. It relaxes me automatically. This is usually followed by sipping on a hot cup of coffee.

Being in the comfort of my home and friends is the perfect way to spend my weekend."
