Chokka Basavanagoudar of Bellary has been elected vice president of the bank. They were elected at a meeting of board of directors of the bank held in Bangalore on Friday. Manjunatha Gowda has been president of Shimoga DCC bank for the last 14 years. Chokka Basavanagoudar is president of Bellary district Central Cooperative bank.
Re-elected: Former minister G T Deve Gowda has been re-elected president of the State Co-operative Federation. Umakanth Nagamarapalli, son of former minister Gurupadappa Nagamarapalli was elected vice president. Deve Gowda has become president of the federation for the fourth term.
