SHRC chief threathens legal action

Chairman of the State Human Rights Commission Justice S R Nayak has threatened to initiate legal action against Chief Minister Yeddyurappa, his political secretary B J Puttaswamy and a few BJP men for their comments on functioning of the commission, on Wednesday.

Puttaswamy and partymen had taken exception to Justice Nayak’s criticism of the government and alleged that the chairman had crossed limits.
