PU seats reserved for CBSE, ICSE students

The principal of the Jindal Charitable College, Bharath Inamdar said some seats will be reserved for the students willing to study in his college. He said his college, a charitable one, provides education at a reasonable cost.

The Principal of MES Kishore College Prahallad Rao said the government has made rules for the schools and colleges, which are following the state syllabus, to reserve at least five per cent seats for the CBSE or the ICSE Colleges in all the streams like Arts, Science and Commerce.

Similarly the principal of the RBANMS College B K Srikanta, who is also the general secretary of the BU Principals Association said there will be at least five to ten per cent seats reserved in his college for students passing out of CBSE and ISCE schools and colleges, which will be in accordance with the state government’s directive to keep at least five per cent seat for the CBSE and ICSE students.
