Laying siege to the Taluk Panchayat office along with various GP presidents, vice presidents and members, he demanded the documents from the officials.
However, due to the absence of the officials, he later spoke to the mediapersons.
Including Chelukalnerpu hobli, in 33 Gram Panchayats the list of beneficiaries had been prepared.
For preparing this list everyone including taluk panchayat executive officer and president Moula were present. The meeting was held in the respective GP level and the beneficiaries selected. But the legislators all of a sudden have asked the list in a few villages to be withheld. The reason given for this is, the list of beneficiaries is not
correct.
But how can the list be defective when it was prepared in the presence of their own party’s taluk panchayat president. Also how can there be discrepancies only in the list where the JD(S) administration is there. The officials should give a proper reply for this, he said.
The officials were already informed about their coming, in the form of an official letter. But even as they were coming the officials concerned had left the place with the related files. When the manager was asked about this, he carelessly remarked that he was a ‘suspended manager.’
The officials and the Congress leaders are deliberately making the distribution of Ashraya houses a political thing, he alleged.
The full list must be given before tenth of this month. Otherwise the scheme becomes a
failure.
The legislators are stalling this deliberately as they want the JD(S) GP beneficiaries not to benefit, he charged.
JD(S) taluk secretary Dhananjay Reddy, leaders Donnalli Ramanna, Dibburahalli Rajanna, Kundalgurki K M Venkatesh, Bhaktrahalli Gopal Gowda, Meluru Manjunath, Cheemangala Venkatesh, Rama Ramachandra, M Muniraju, Umesh and others were present.
