Three watches still ticking!

Strange as it may sound, but true.  Search workers, looking for the vital black box of the Air India Express flight IX-812 that crashed at Mangalore airport, found three expensive watches, including one lady’s watch, on Monday and they are still ticking even three days after the crash. As many as 158 people perished in the Saturday's plane crash.

Directorate General of Civil Aviation officials who have been supervising search operations handed over the watches to the local police. A police official was surprised as the watches were not damaged in the fire in the aftermath of the crash.
