Land scheme to be implemented in 10 hectares

This scheme which was started last year will be implemented in Kushki region with a target of increasing crop productivity by 20 per cent.Bhoo Chetana Yojane lays emphasis on incorporating micronutrients in the soil based on soil testing, encouraging mixed cropping and comprehensive pest control methods.Under this scheme farmers can avail sowing seeds of ragi, tur dal, groundnuts and others at 50 per cent discount. Farmers can also avail micronutrients for crops like gypsum, borax and others. For more details the farmers should contact officers at farmer’s contact centres.
