He was speaking after inaugurating the sewing machine distribution programme organised by the Bantara Yane Nadavara Sangha at the Krishi Bhavana here on Monday. He said that the Sangha utilises 60 per cent of the income from its community hall for the distribution scholarships and education purpose. Those rich community members should help the organisation by donation funds, he added.
Sangha President Dharmaraj presided. Bangalore Bantara Sangha Social Service Wing Chief Bhagawandas Alva, Convener B Bhaskara Shetty, LIC Development Officer K Ashok Kumar Hegde, Industrialists Sathish B Shetty, Vasanthakumar Shetty and others were present.
