Software glitch delays issue of certificates

Sources said as the LAN was not working data logged in on one system was not reflecting on another system. Since officials have failed to fix the problem, certificates are not being issued since the past 20 days.

With the last date for admission into schools and colleges nearing, parents have been frequenting the Nemmadi centre everyday to collect caste and income certificates.
As many as 59 villages and KGF come under the purview of the Nemmadi centre in Robertsonpet. Villages in the Mavalli Gram Panchayat in Bangarpet Assembly constituency also come under this centre.

More than 470 applications are pending at the Nemmadi centre. Deputy Tahsildhar  Inayatullah Khan said system engineers have been trying to rectify the problem for the past three days and assured that the issue of certificates would resume soon.
