<p>A Fast Track Sessions Court acquitted Urs, daughter of former Chief Minister Devaraj Urs and two others in connection with a high profile case on May 27. Urs was arrested by the High Grounds police in connection with the murder of Chitralekha, daughter of former High Court judge M P Chandrakanth Raje Urs, in 2004. <br /><br />She was not released as a court had issued warrant against her in a cheque bounce case. She obtained the bail in the cheque bounce case. Hence, she was released, said the Parappana Agrahara police.<br /><br />Student hangs self<br />An engineering student, Ashish Kumar Singh (25), of Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, was found hanging in his room in Prashant Layout on Friday. <br />According to police, Singh was pursuing Computer Science engineering at the MVJ College of Engineering. Distraught over his failure in a subject, he took this extreme step, the police said. Whitefield police have registered a case.</p>
