Lightning damages two houses

Lightning struck the two houses that belonged Dinesh and Nagendrappa, a former member of taluk panchayat. Such was the impact of the lightning that the walls of the houses developed cracks.

The damage is estimated at Rs 50,000. No humans or animals were injured in the incident.

Nagendrappa has urged Deputy Commissioner to press government for providing
compensation for repair of the houses.
