'Strengthen Seva Dal'

He was addressing a gathering at a programme organised by the Bharat Seva Dal at Anantapur village on the outskirts of Mulbagal on Sunday.

N S Hardikar founded the Bharat Seva Dal in 1950, as a secular organisation. The organisation practices Gandhian principles till date and teachers play a pivotal role in the Bharat Seva Dal and its various units, explained Venkatnarayan.

The State government has come  forward to hold Seva Dal activities alongside with Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan activities. With donors aid the activities of Seva Dal will be carried out in all high schools and higher primary schools in Mulbagal taluk, he added.
