Meanwhile, MNS chief Raj Thackeray blasted everyone, including the Shiv Sena, for betraying the cause of Marathi-speaking people in boundary areas.

“No minister from Maharashtra in the UPA government has the guts to resign on the issue of Maharashtra’s pride,” Thackeray said in an editorial in the party mouthpiece “Saamna”.
“At least give hollow threat to resign... Carry resignation letters in your pockets,” Thackeray said, adding the boundary dispute between the two states has been hanging fire since last 50-55 years due to the Congressmen in Delhi. “For Pawar, cricket is dearer than Maharashtra. Murli Deora belongs to Ambani and oil companies... Praful Patel belongs to rich capitalists,” he said.

Thackeray termed as “foolish” chief minister Ashok Chavan’s statement that there a was political will to resolve the row.
