He told reporters that the Reddy brothers have challenged the Congress members to enter Bellary on Friday. “ We want to see what they actually intend to do,” he said.
He said the situation in the State is a fit case for invoking Article 356 of the Constitution. Chief Minister Yeddyurappa has admitted that he is unable to prevent illegal mining and protect the State’s resources, he added.
JD(S) State president H D Kumaraswamy said JD(S) and the Congress will hold a protest against the BJP rule across the State.
