“The bird came under the wheels of the aircraft when it was returning to apron after landing on the runway,” sources said.

The flight scheduled to depart at 2.40 pm was given the clearance at 6.30 pm after a thorough inspection, said officials of the Jet Airways. The experts came in another flight from Mumbai who thoroughly checked the aircraft before giving the green signal.
