The counselling is being held for the admission to the postgraduate medical and dental courses for the academic year 2010-11 in government/private medical and dental colleges for the seats which have become vacant due to migration of candidates during the extended second round of counselling held on June 30, pursuant to the orders of the Supreme Court.

The counselling will commence from 10 am and candidates have been advised to report 30 minutes before the commencement of counselling. There are overall 40 PG medical seats in 15 medical colleges and one dental seat (MDS Oral Surgery) at the Dayananda Sagar Dental College, Bangalore.

According to the apex court directions and the State Government, only those candidates who have not taken seats in the previous rounds of counselling are eligible to attend the counselling. The students who are already admitted and those candidates who have surrendered the seats after selection/admission are not eligible.
