The annual award instituted by the Centre for Organisation Development (CoD) here was given to Aruna Roy by Andhra Pradesh Governor ESL Narasimhan.
The award is in recognition of Roy's vision and for being a role model for generations of those who aspire to travel on path of excellence, said a release here tonight.
The Centre for Organisation Development established the 'V Krishnamurthy Award for Excellence' in 2000 to honour individuals who have set high standards of achievement in pursuit of excellence in their respective professions.
