“I had never seen Parappana Agrahara. I wanted to know the condition that convicts live in. I visited the jail to fulfil a long cherished wish,” Sriramulu said rubbishing reports that he had met criminals from Bellary lodged at the jail.
Sriramulu said his visit to the jail was in his capacity as Health Minister to make an on the spot assessment of the problems faced by the inmates and in view of demands for better health facilities in the jail dispensary.
