<p>Addressing a news conference here, All India Radio Mysore Director Dr M S Jayaharan said the programme is jointly organised by All India Radio of Mysore, Information Department and Mandya Zilla Panchayat.<br />The event will be inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner of Mandya M Maheshwara Rao while Director of Department of Information and Publicity N R Vishukumar will release the newsletter ‘Negila Yogi’. the newsletter is aimed at fulfilling the information requirements of agriculturists, Jayaharan informed.<br />Bangalore AIR Director Chetankumar Naik, Vijaya Bank AGM Nageshwara Rao, Industrialist K Narayan, Mandya Vikasana Grameena and Nagarabhivrudhi Samsthe Director Mahesh Chandraguru and Joint Director of Agriculture Department Dr Vishakanta will released various agriculture equipments.<br />She said another highlight of the programme is a series of lectures by the experts.<br /> A special lecture on ‘global weather change and food security’ will be delivered by A N Yellappareddy, retired principal chief conservator of forests.<br />On this occasion, ‘Banuli Krishi Ratna’ will be presented to Indiramma Nagabhushanaradhya of Hanumanahalli village of K R Nagar taluk, a progressive woman farmer. <br /></p>
