Sadananda Gowda promises to follow path of Srikantappa

 Inaugurating the MP’s office in Deputy Commissioner’s office on Wednesday, he said that the citizens have vested the responsibility of bringing funds from the Centre on him. He assured to take up development works in the region in co-operation with the local elected representatives and the officials.

“Coffee and areca diseases, Dattapeeta issues, Bhadra Irrigation Project, problems pertaining to Railway, Forest and various other issues have been brought to my notice. There is a need to solve these problems by means of comprehensive approach,” he said and added that the former MP D C Srikantappa had worked for the betterment of the people by mixing with common people. Gowda said that he too will try to walk on the path of Srikantappa and win the confidence of the people.

He said that he will hold meeting once in a month and try to solve the problems stage by stage and also said that he would try his level best to be in Chikmagalur atleast once a week.

He directed to open suggestion box in MP’s office, wherein the citizens could walk up and drop in their suggestions, problems and grievances.
