Setty is KUWSDB chief

 The post has been vacant after Varthur Prakash was dismissed last week.
Setty, who as minister had occupied the government bungalow near the High Grounds, will continue to stay in the same bungalow.

When contacted, Setty said that he is constructing a house in Malleswaram, and will continue to live in the government bungalow (which is located in the seven minister’s quarters) till it is ready for occupation.

The government has also permitted him to continue to occupy the bungalow.

Setty said, “I own a small house of six squares in Rajajinagar, Bangalore. After I became minister, I purchased six gir cows from Gujarat. I cannot keep it in my Rajajinagar house. I purchased the cows so that good things will happen to the government.”
