<p>The Board of Directors of Central Depository Services (India) Limited (CDSL), on Monday, appointed N Rangachary, founding chairman of Insurance Regulatory & Development Authority (IRDA), as its Chairman with immediate effect. Rangachary will succeed S S Thakur, who has chaired the board of CDSL since 2001.</p>
