Grand plan for birthday

From calling high-profile guests to organising entertainment programmes, Krishna is leaving no stone unturned  to make the show a success.

Speaking about it, Krishna said that the entertainment programmes will be the highlight of the event and the guest list will include Rajanikanth, Kamal Hassan, Anushka Sharma, Venkatesh, Prabhu and other  prominent personalities from the Kannada film industry.

The initial plan was to hold the programme on August 28, but it has been postponed to September 18 to coincide with Vishnuvardhan’s birthday. “We were supposed to have the celebrations this month but the unavailability of venue and lack of confirmation from some important guests, led us to postpone the event. Most importantly, many of Vishnu sir’s fan clubs requested us to have the show on his birthday to make it more special and meaningful,” he says.

On choosing Kanteerva Indoor Stadium as the venue, Krishna says that he wants everything to be perfect.  “We thought of Palace Grounds but then due to unpredictable rains we don’t want the show to be spoilt. Hence, we decided that Kanteerva will be a better choice,” he says. 

There were also rumours of Bharathi Vishnuvardhan organising other programmes on that day.  Dismissing these reports, Krishna says, “We are in constant touch with Bharathi madam and she has given us her blessings to go ahead and conduct the programme.”

 “We deeply miss our hero and wish he was here to be part of the celebrations. Nevertheless, we are making sure that everything goes as planned,” he adds.
