The play was enacted for the benefit of slum dwellers and their children. Nearly 15 children enacted various roles such as a political leader, school teacher, social worker and various child labourers working in hotels, houses and industries.

Through this play children wanted to depict a true message against Child Labour and also the ill effects of children not getting educated and wasting their time in gambling and other bad habits including smoking, drug abuse.

The students took a rally with all the placards with various messages shouting slogans against Child Labour in various streets of Gokulam up to the Community Centre. Children of Sweepers' colony were given pencils, erasers, sweets, chocolates, by the interactors. The programme was directed and supervised by St Joseph's Central School Teacher Co-ordinators for the Interact Club Prathima Thimmaiah, Veena Kumar and others. Members from Rotary Central Mysore also attended the unique programme.
