Addressing a press conference here on Sunday, Singh questioned “what actions did the then Deputy Chief Minister (Yeddyurappa) in BJP-JD(S) coalition government, took to address the issue? Why didn’t the government, which was busy in buying party-hoppers, remember to protect the interests of the people?”

“The remarks made by Yeddyurappa doesn’t uphold the dignity of the post he is holding,” said Singh who added that there was no irregularities in the mining sector during his tenure.

“BJP is spending crores of rupees just on erecting pendals for its conventions. Does these come under implementation of Nanjundappa Committee’s report or development of Hyderabad-Karnataka region” he questioned.
