<p>The incident occurred around 3:20 pm near Sankrail station in the Howrah-Kharagpur section when the Howrah-bound East Coast Express and a Panskura-bound local train came on the same track, a spokesperson of the South Eastern Railway said.<br /><br />The driver of the local train overshot the signal, however, realising the mistake he stopped the train immediately. The driver has been suspended and an inquiry has been ordered.</p>
