"We have asked the Central Crime Branch police to investigate the matter," he said.

A sting operation conducted by a local television channel exposed the loopholes in the Bangalore University examination system. The channel reportedly managed to get hold of the 'leaked' Financial Accounting paper-II by 8.15 a.m., sold to them for Rs 3000 by an attendant working in  the college located in Jayanagar.

Apart from selling Question papers, agents involved in the scam reportedly sold empty answer booklets of Bangalore University outside the college campus. The seals of bundles containing empty answer sheets are supposed to be broken only inside the examination hall and handed to students by the invigilators.

According to Bangalore University sources, the college has been blacklisted and the faculty involved has been suspended. The exam is likely to be held within ten days.
