Combined City XI triumph

Combined City XI triumphed by virtue of a first innings lead against Mysore Zone in the KSCA under-16 inter-zonal tournament that concluded here on Saturday at the RSI Ground.

After bowling out Mysore Zone for 237, thanks to a superb performance from medium pacer Tanish Mahesh (6/72), Combined City went on to end the day at 253 for seven, thereby gaining a valuable 16-run lead.

Skipper Ayush Shetty top-scored with 74 while Rohan Naykar (57) and KV Aneesh (47) made valuable contributions. For Mysore, Munjesh Chengappa (3/78) and Harsh BS (2/55) tried to halt Combined City’s effort but it was too little.
