JOIN USAddressing the media persons at Hazrath Seyyid Madani Darga Sharief here, Seyyid Madani Trust President Haji U K Monu told that the Trust has translated the Quran from Arabic to Kannada and English for effectively conveying its message to the students in schools run by the Trust.
“Our Trust has been offering Madrasa education in English medium in Seyyid Madani Hazrath English Medium School at Ullal since last one year which has been very much successful and hence we want to extend this programme to other Muslim educational institutions of Karnataka, if we get a request for it,” Monu said.
He informed that the Trust will publish Tafsirul Quran, a book to give definitions of Quran, for the students of upper grades.
Demands
U K Monu urged the Civil Aviation Ministry to introduce flights to Jeddah from Mangalore during the Haj month for the convenience of the pilgrims of Uttara Kannada, Udupi and Dakshina Kannada districts.
He also urged the railway authorities to make all the passenger trains to stop at Ullal by upgrading the Ullal railway station. He sought the transport authorities to make the buses coming from Mangalore to go till the Darga entrance.
