As per the complaint filed by Krishnajee Rao, a resident of Vidyaranyapura, some persons robbed him of his cash. He withdrew Rs 2.5 lakh from Canara Bank branch on Apoorva Road and was riding back home on his moped. He had kept the cash in a small bag. Near BT Road, two youths approached him from behind on a bike and pointed to some dirt on his shirt. When Rao stopped his moped, the duo managed to decamp with the bag containing money.
