<p>Speaking to media persons here on Thursday, BJP leaders strongly condemned the act of the Legislative Council member M C Naniah for writing letter accusing Legislative Assembly Speaker K G Bopaiah for holding a meeting of Excise Department officials in order to solve Jamma Bane matter. <br /><br />Speaking on the occasion, BJP leader M B Devaiah informed that no secret meeting was held with the Legislative Assembly speaker to discuss the matters related to Jamma Bane. “M C Naniah is unnecessarily intervening in the matter. BJP Government is doing its best to resolve the issue. The fact being so, we request Nanaiah and JDS to extend their co-operation,” he said. <br /><br />Virajpet Taluk Panchayat member Addanda Kariappa criticised Nanaiah for poking his nose and trying to attain profit by politicising the issue. <br /><br />ZP Education and Health Standing Committee President Manumutthappa said that the public themselves will teach a lesson to M C Nanaih for his redundant acts. Taluk Akrama Sakrama President Shantheyanda Ravi Kushalappa and TP member Thaloor Kishor Kumar were present.</p>
