Belur to make peace with Eshwarappa

 
Referring to BJP State President K S Eshwarappa’s strong reaction to his statements, Gopalakrishna said he would meet the president soon and clarify. “If I am not made a minister, I will not be unhappy. I will continue to support Yeddyurappa and Eshwarappa,” he added.

He pointed out that he won twice in the stronghold of S Bangarappa and Kagodu Thimmappa and that Idiga community helped B S Raghavendra win the Lok Sabha seat from Shimoga. “This is why I sought a Cabinet berth. Besides Shimoga, there are a large number of Idigas in Uttara Kannada, Udupi, Chikmagalur and Dakshina Kannada. I have not committed any mistake,” the MLA maintained.
