UoM Women's Kho-Kho team heads to Vizag

The team will be headed by captain Nalina T N will be assisted by manager Sandhya Rani and coach B D Kantharaju.

The team members are Rashmi K C, Asha K R, Chaythra K Y, Supritha B A, Nayana H D, Vanitha H D, Suchithra C S, Revathi R, Shalini B, Jamuna L, and Anusha K G.

Throwball

Lion’s High School of Nanjangud and Pragathi High School of Mysore South Zone have clinched the District-level U-17 Boys’ and Girls’ Throwball Competitions held in the city on Monday.

While Lion’s High School of Nanjangud beat CFTRI of Mysore North to capture the title in the boys category, Pragathi High School of Mysore South defeated Shastry High School of Hunsur to win the girls throwball tournament.  Around 216 players participated in the one-day tournament.
