More time for Sampangi case inquiry

KGF MLA Sampangi was caught red-handed by the Lokayukta police in Legislators’ Home, while he was accepting bribe from a businessman.

The speaker had constituted a House committee under the chairmanship of deputy speaker K G Bopaiah to conduct an inquiry into the case. He had given time till June 5 to file the report. The speaker said he would take a decision on the case based on the report.
