HC explores negotiated settlement on Ayodhya

A bunch of PILs, which were filed before the High Court on Monday for deferring the judgement and settling the issue through mutual negotiations, would also come up for hearing on that day.

Lawyers representing the parties have confirmed that they have received instruction from the court to appear before it on Friday to explore the possibility of an out-of-court settlement. Three PILs were filed before Justice Dharam Veer Sharma, one of the three judges of the special/full bench which concluded hearing in the matter and has said that it will pronounce its judgement on September 24.
