NITK invites applications for 'E-Pitch'

According to a press release, E-Pitch is sponsored by the Department of Science and Technology, New Delhi, through Science Technology and Entrepreneurship Park (STEP-NITK).
E-Pitch is a national-level ideas contest and an endeavour to make the process of  entrepreneurship real and accessible to aspiring and innovative students.

E-FOREA (the entrepreneurship cell of NITK) has been a key stakeholder in augmenting the entrepreneurial capabilities in students by having a robust network with various E-Cells, incubators, venture capitalists and angel investors across the country.
E-Pitch is an embodiment of this very commitment. E-Pitch presents an unique opportunity for students, young entrepreneurs, innovators to present their ideas in an extremely simple format without the rigours of a business plan.

E-Pitch also presents a platform for students, entrepreneurs to explore exciting and flexible funding opportunities coupled with the prospect of finding technological support in the form of incubation under the patronage of STEP-NITK.

Participants are required to give a brief and simple description of the idea as per the format given in the website. The prize money is Rs 1.35 lakh. Participants can submit their ideas on the website http://engineer.org.in/events/biz/ideas-contest.
 The last date of submission of entries is September 30.
