Transport and District In-Charge Minister Ashok distributed prizes to the winning teams and also consolation prizes at a programme held on Sunday night.
The Kabbadi team of Chandagalu village secured 2nd place. Speaking on the occasion, Ashok lauded holding such programmes in memory of Nagendra. He also expressed his happiness over felicitating the BJP candidates who won the gram panchayat elections. Former MLA H D Chowdaiah, MUDA Chairman Vidya Nagendra, MLA Ashwath Narayana and other dignitaries were present.
