<p>World Snooker chairman Barry Hearn said yesterday that snooker "will be cleaner than clean" and be "the blueprint for sport."<br /><br />Former Metropolitan Police commissioner John Stevens has been hired to lead the unit.<br />Two weeks ago, three-time world snooker champion John Higgins was cleared of frame-fixing allegations but admitted giving the impression to undercover reporters posing as businessman that he would throw frames for financial gain.<br /><br />Higgins, who is still serving a six-month suspension, is to educate youngsters on the dangers he found himself in.</p>
