High Grounds police said the culprits had smashed the head of Muniyappa (50), a resident of Srirampuram. Muniyappa was married with two children.
Police suspect that personal rivalry could be reason for the murder. They feel that culprits had a marathon chat before attacking Muniyappa with chairs near the toilet. The incident came to light after some house keeping assistants came for work in the morning.
