State govt aims to boost Industrial ranking

On various initiatives that the State government is undertaking to achieve the same, he said that the new industrial policy has a new approach and has addressed various crucial issues pertaining industrial development — including concessions and packages for different sectors. And that there will be other initiatives to follow up. He also said that there has been a dedicated team specifically working on various development models and its implementation and will submit recommendations soon. The team has visited various states like Gujrat, Haryana, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh. The State has been working in tandem with various industry organisations and addressed issues the industries have.

Further he said that the government aims to attract more investments in the State and has specific action plans — including road shows and campaigns. The government has also proposed to streamline the land acquisition process and simplify other laws to create a good climate for industries and investors. About 24 new projects across the spectrum have been cleared by the government already and Rs 1,16,000 has been sanctioned.
The State will send a 6  member delegation to Germany headed by Nirani to attend the ‘Global Indian Investor’s Meet’ at Frankfurt and Munich on June 26 to attract investors to visit the State.
