JOIN USSoon after the Chief Minister reshuffled and expanded the State Cabinet last week State party President K S Eshwarappa had pacified the rebelling aspirants stating that heads of various boards and corporations will be appointed within 15 days.
Yeddyurappa who gained an upper hand by having his say in the Cabinet reshuffle is keen to complete the process of appointments to boards and corporation at the earliest, party sources said.
All the present heads would be asked to put in their papers soon. Appointments would be made afresh giving equal priority to legislators and party workers taking into consideration their seniority, region and community, the sources added.
Two other legislators who threw tantrums in the run-up to the Cabinet reshuffle - C T Ravi and Appachu Ranjan - are likely to be appointed as parliamentary secretaries. The posts are vacant following the appointment of incumbents C C Patil and S A Ramdas to the Cabinet.
District incharge ministers are also expected to be appointed in the next two to three days. All the six new inductees to the Cabinet will be given incharge of one district each, party sources said.
