Contractors allege harassment by officials

The members of the Mysuru City Corporation Contractors Association alleged that Mines and Geology (M&G) department officials are harassing them and demanding royalty.

They alleged, that the officials were not allowing them to transport construction materials such as M-sand and others.

In some cases, the officials have seized trucks transporting construction materials.

The association members have written to Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy and urged him to allow the contractors to take up the works.
