JOIN USCorporation Bank, under the ‘CorpKiran’ programme, donated five electro cardiogram (ECG) machines for the Cardiology at Doorsteps (CAD) initiative of Dr Padmanabh Kamath, interventional cardiologist at KMC Hospital.
Jai Kumar Garg, managing director and CEO of Corporation Bank, handed over the machines to Dr Kamath on Wednesday. The machines will be installed at the primary health centre at Nagar, Maruthipura, Humcha, Ripponpet and Yedur of Hosanagara taluk of Shivamogga district as a part of the CAD initiative.
The initiative was taken up to save lives of people living in remote locations by diagnosing coronary artery problems in the initial stages and administering appropriate treatment.
Corporation Bank, with its social welfare activities, had started ‘CorpKiran’, an association of women executives and the wives of senior executives to extend CSR activities.
