Desperation turns to grief as blast outside Kabul airport kills scores of Afghans

Desperation among Afghans to leave the country turned to grief as the twin suicide bombings outside the Kabul Airport killed scores of people and left several more injured. The Islamic State (IS), which claimed to be behind the terror attack said it meant to target US troops and Afghan nationals hoping for a flight that would take them away from the now Taliban-controlled country.
