With a death toll of over 1.3 lakh, India has lost many to novel coronavirus. Politicians, leaders, MPs, MLA  are no exceptions and have fallen prey to the virus, which has scoured the entire world. Here are some Indian politicians who lost their lives battling Covid-19:

Ahmed Patel, a master strategist of Congress and a trusted lieutenant of three generations of the Gandhi family, succumbed to complications from Covid-19 on the morning of November 25. He had tested positive on October 1.

TRS Senior leader Nayini Narsimha Reddy was the Home Minister of Telangana from 2014 to 2018. He also took charge of portfolios including Prisons, Fire Services, Sainik Welfare, Labour and Employment. He tested positive for Covid-19 on 28 September 2020.
