The 66th city civil court reserved the orders on bail petition filed by Mohammed Nalapad, son of Shathinagar Congress MLA NA Haris, to Wednesday. Nalapad is in judicial custody in connection with the brutal attack on Vidwath at Farzi Cafe in Bengaluru on February 17.
Usman, advocate for Nalapad, submitted that the CCB cops have filed a charge sheet and there was no chance of tampering with the evidence or influencing the witnesses. SPP
M S Shyamsunder submitted that there were many cases in which bail had not been granted even after filing of charge sheet.
